Tchaikovsky, the Russian composer behind works like the 1812 Overture and Swan Lake, wasn't "out and proud," but the composer, who had romantic relationships with men throughout his life, was pretty clearly gay. But that's not the story you'll get in a new Russian biopic, which is "downplaying" the composers sexuality, because of the country's new anti-gay laws.
