Wentworth Miller declined an invitation to the St. Petersburg Film Festival in protest of Russia's anti-gay laws. The 'Prison Break' heartthrob and would-be guest of honor wrote an impassioned letter to the festival director, Maria Averbach, disclosing his own homosexuality.

I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly," he wrote.
