Dodger the Opossum Enjoys Charcuterie Feast for Thanksgiving
Dodger, a 5-month-old opossum, was given a holiday charcuterie feast with mealworms, eggs, and plenty of sprinkles. Along with his two siblings, Dodger was rescued after a dog attack and initially brought to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Washington. In October, Dodger arrived at Woodland Park Zoo and is now settling into his new role there as an ambassador for animals. Opossums are extremely beneficial to humans; their snacking helps keep insects, snails, slugs, and even rats and mice in check.
