Activists from the groups NextGen PAC and MoveOn created a statue of Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson literally made with poop.

The "scatue" made its debut in Milwaukee on September 29, and the groups are aiming to inspire voters for the upcoming midterms. "The people in Wisconsin deserve a senator who believes in climate change and won’t take money from the fossil fuel industry to get richer himself. That’s why we joined @MoveOn in Milwaukee today to call out Ron Johnson's bullsh*t... literally," NextGen Pac tweeted.

The senator could lose his seat this November in a tight race against Democratic candidate and current Wisconsin Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes

Johnson, who denies that he's a climate crisis denier, downplayed the crisis at a GOP luncheon in 2021 and was caught on video saying, "I don’t know about you guys, but I think climate change is..." and then mouthing the word, "bullsh*t."

MoveOn said in a tweet describing their action, "Ron Johnson thinks the climate change devastating communities across the country is 'bullsh*t.' We disagree, and think he’s actually projecting."
