Former President Barack Obama laid into Donald Trump on Wednesday night during his first campaign rally speech for Joe Biden.

At a “drive-in rally” in Philadelphia for Biden and running mate Kamala Harris, Obama unleashed on Trump, saying the president has “proven himself incapable of taking the job seriously.”

Obama also bought up a recent bombshell report by the New York Times, which flew under the radar, that revealed Trump purportedly has a secret Chinese bank account. The report also stated that Trump maintains foreign accounts in the UK and Ireland as well.

“How is that possible?” Obama continued. “Can you imagine if I had had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for reelection? You think Fox News might’ve been a little concerned about that? They would’ve called me Beijing Barry!”

Obama also said Trump probably paid more to foreign governments in taxes than he does in the U.S. — stemming from another Times article that showed Trump paid very little in federal taxes for more than a decade, including $750 during his first year in office.

Obama went on to drag Trump for giving billionaires tax cuts, his administration’s failed pandemic response, which has forced hundreds of thousands of businesses to close. He also said Trump wants to take credit for the “economy he inherited and zero blame for the pandemic that he ignored.”

Obama also said that his administration left a “pandemic playbook” that would have helped guide the new White House in its response to the COVID-19 outbreak “before the virus reached our shores.”

“I never thought that Donald Trump would embrace my vision or continue my policies,” Obama said. “But I did hope, for the sake of the country that he might show some interest in taking the job seriously. But it hasn’t happened.”

Obama continued: “He hasn’t shown any interest in doing the work or helping anybody but himself and his friends, or treating the presidency like a reality show that he could use to get attention… But the thing is, this isn’t a reality show, this is reality.”

The former president said the country can’t “afford four more years” of Trump and encouraged people to vote for Biden and Harris.

“Joe Biden has concrete plans and policies that will turn our vision of a better, fairer, stronger country into a reality.”
