Judge in Texas Upholds $49M Jury Verdict Against Alex Jones

Jones has repeatedly claimed the Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax.

A Texas judge held Tuesday that Infowars founder Alex Jones must pay the full $49M verdict awarded to the parents of a 6-year-old killed in the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. A jury issued the hefty verdict in August after finding for parents Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis in their lawsuit against Jones, who has repeatedly claimed the shooting was a hoax.
