Justin Bieber is back!
The musician made headlines for his return to the stage, performing at Lucca Summer Festival in Italy over the weekend. His wife, Hailey Bieber, was also in attendance.
Two months ago, Bieber opened up about being diagnosed with partial facial paralysis due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which is a rare condition that negatively affects nerves in the face and ear. It’s caused by the same virus that is responsible for the chickenpox and shingles, though it usually tends to affect older adults. Bieber turned 28 in March 2022.
Despite his recent health woes, Bieber seemed in good spirits, performing “Holy” to hundreds of fans. After the concert wrapped, he shared a photo on Instagram thanking fans.
"This is my first day back. So good to be here. As some of you guys know, the Justice Tour is about equality. It’s about justice for all. No matter what you look like, no matter your shape, your size, your ethnicity. We are all the same, we're all one," he said to fans at the festival. "We know that racism is evil, and we know that division is evil, it is wrong. But we are here to be the difference makers. I want to say thank you to each and every one of you guys for being a part of this tour."
