You'll only be able to see Chuck E. Cheese's famed animatronic band in one place now: at a location in suburban Los Angeles.

President and CEO of Chuck E. Cheese Entertainment David McKillips announced that locations across the country will do away with the famed five-piece that entertained birthday parties and other celebrations for generations. The company is reportedly working to upgrade the entertainment element at venues with new technology, interactive dance floors, and trampoline zones.

The change will affect 550 locations throughout the U.S., excluding a Chuck E. Cheese in Northridge, California. McKillips said they're keeping the band alive in the Northridge location as a way of showing 'love and gratitude' to fans who have fond memories of it from their childhood.
