This Company Will Pay You $1,000 to Eat Cheese and Sleep
Consider it a LITERAL 'dream job.'

Maybe Liz Lemon was onto something when she sang about workin’ on her night cheese.
Mattress review and resource website Sleep Junkie is offering $1,000 to 5 'dairy dreamers' who are willing to eat cheese before they go to bed every night and report if they have any nightmares.
For years, researchers have attempted to study if eating cheese before bed really does result in more vivid dreams. Much of the conventional wisdom dates back to a 2005 study by an org called the British Cheese Board, which claimed to find that different types of cheese, like cheddar or blue cheese, caused different types of dreams. Per the BBC, the study 'wasn't exactly scientifically robust or published in a peer-reviewed journal, but the findings helped to perpetuate the belief that cheese can affect the content of our dreams.'
Well, now Sleep Junkie wants to put the issue to bed once and for all. 'Here at Sleep Junkie, we love all things sleep and are continually looking for new sleep-related topics to educate ourselves and our readers on,' the company said in a press release. 'For this reason, we wanted to test out one of the most popular European sleep theories, that eating cheese before bed gives you nightmares, and see if there is any truth behind this.'
Sleep Junkie says the 5 individuals picked for the job will need to log their sleep quality via a sleep tracker, provide a written self-evaluation of their sleep quality and energy levels, and detail any dreams or nightmares they experience.
The study will run for 3 months, and all cheese will be paid for. Applicants can apply on the company’s website and must be 21 or older, own a smartwatch or fitness tracker, and be willing to sleep alone. Candidates also can't have any dairy or lactose intolerance.
