The 2020 Oscars proved, as always, to be a buzzworthy event, filled with surprise performances, inspiring acceptance speeches, and triumphant film sweeps in some of the biggest categories. 

The 92nd Academy Awards aired Sunday night without a host (for the second year in  row) and honored some of the year’s biggest achievements in film—while also addressing the (still) very overt lack of diversity in each category.
