8 hunters competed in a “stag calling” competition in Germany. The contest pitted the men against one another as they each tried to imitate the mating call of a red deer using different types of sound amplifiers. 🦌
“A centuries-old tradition, stag or deer-calling may look comical but for the hunters and jury it is taken very seriously and is specific to the red deer’s sounds,” Reuters reports.
