President Trump Keeps Talking About Toilets and Dishwashers

“Dishwashers, we did the dishwasher, right? You press it. Remember the dishwasher, you’d press it. Boom, there’d be like, an explosion.”

Trump may have been impeached this week, but he’s still traveling around the country rallying his base — and he keeps bringing up toilets and dishwashers.

During a rally in Battle Creek on Wednesday, Michigan, Trump claimed that water regulations he was trying to fight are causing toilets, sinks, and dishwashers to work incorrectly.

“You have areas where there’s so much water, you don’t know what to do with it. You turn on the shower, you’re not allowed to have any water anymore,” he said. “Dishwashers, we did the dishwasher, right? You press it. Remember the dishwasher, you’d press it. Boom, there’d be like, an explosion.”

Trump then said that “women” have told him about the problem, which involves them having run their dishwashers multiple times.

This isn’t the first time Trump has declared a verbal war on appliances. Earlier this month, Trump said that he and the White House are, “looking very strongly at sinks and showers, and other elements of bathrooms.”

"You turn on the faucet, you don't get any water," he continued. “They take a shower; the water comes dripping out. People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times.”

He also blamed energy-efficient light bulbs for making him look orange.

At the same Michigan rally, Trump brought up Hillary Clinton, F-35 pilots that are more handsome than Tom Cruise, and late Michigan congressman John Dingell, whom Trump said was maybe “looking up” from hell.
