THE THING I AM

Steve Bannon, now President Trump’s chief strategist, once co-wrote a rap musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Coriolanus set in South Central Los Angeles during the 1992 riots after the LAPD beating of Rodney King.

The project, co-written with writer Julia Jones, is titled The Thing I Am. It was never made into a film, but NowThis secured a copy of the little-known screenplay and organized a table read. You have to see it to believe it.
