Popularity of Avocados Threatens Elephants

Your avocado obsession might be threatening the survival of Kenya's elephants.

Kenyan agricultural company KiliAvo Fresh Ltd bought farmland near Amboseli National Park and is preparing to grow avocados across 175 acres of land.

Conservationists say the completed project will block an important corridor where elephants move between Amboseli, Tsavo, and Chyulu Hills national parks. This could create the potential for human-wildlife conflicts.
