Nairobi-based entrepreneur Nzambi Matee created bricks out of recycled plastic that are 5-7x times stronger than concrete.

Nzambi Matee is an entrepreneur in Nairobi, Kenya, whose company, Gjenge Makers, turns plastic waste into durable building materials.

Matee said that her factory has recycled 20 metric tons of plastic since it opened in 2017.
