These MLB Ballparks Are Going To Offer Vegan Concession

Major League Baseball is joining the vegan team.

Ballparks are starting to add vegan-friendly concession foods. Aramark just announced new vegan and vegetarian menu items for 2018. The company provides food and drinks for 10 MLB teams. Here’s this year’s lineup.

At PNC Park, Pittsburg Pirates fans can enjoy a “Greens and Grains” salad with a sriricha-carrot dressing.

At Citi Field, New York Mets fans can chow down on the “Impossible Burger,” a plant-based vegetarian burger.

At Rogers Centre, Toronto Blue Jays fans can order vegan cauliflower cheesesteak with poblano peppers, onions, and vegan cheese sauce, all on a vegan roll.

At Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia Phillies can order a “Vegan’acho Nacho,” served with vegan cheese, black beans, guac, and pico de gallo.

Aramark hopes to offer even more vegan and vegetarian options in the future. Other parks have already been offering vegan options for their plant-based fans. Last year, PETA named Globe Life Park as the most vegan-friendly ballpark. They have their own vegan cart full of meat-free game day eats. Also making the vegan-friendly list: Target Field, Chase Field, Dodger Stadium, Citi Field, Oriole Park, At&T Park, and Citizens Bank Park. Now, it seems lie you don’t have to sacrifice game day for your diet!
