Vegans are mad at Gordon Ramsay for trolling them on Twitter, after a fan asked for his opinion on her vegan lasagna.
Ramsay replied, “I’m a member of PETA! People eating tasty animals……”
Vegans were not happy about his reply.
@MaosyMooCow tweeted, “You’re just a desperate individual intimidated by the rise of the #vegan movement. It’s the future you should embrace it. #FebNoDairy #veganuary #GoVeggie #GoVegan.”
@Terkletondon tweeted, “Funny how you always have vegetables with your meat though. If it was so tasty you could eat meat on its own without sauces, chips or veg etc.”
Even PETA fired back saying, “Oh, dear, Gordon. We’ve heard that old line before. While you’re spending time mocking the future #vegan we’re betting you one day become, most chefs are exploring healthy animal & environmentally-friendly #PlantBased dishes. A real “hells kitchen” is full of corpses $ secretions from artificially inseminated, castrated, and routinely abused animals. As Paul McCartney said, “If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be #vegetarian.”
Gordon Ramsay is known for being blunt on TV. Home cooks usually tweet their food creations to the chef hoping to get some kind of criticism from him and it’s not the first time he’s angered vegans.
