These are the Actresses Leading Argentina's #MeToo Movement

Argentina is having its own #MeToo movement after Thelma Fardín accused a former co-star of raping her when she was a minor.
At an Argentina Actress press conference, 26-year-old actress Fardín accused singer and actor Juan Darthés of raping her while on tour in Nicaragua in 2009. She was 16 and he was 45 at the time.

Three other Argentine actresses, Calu Rivero, Anita Coacci, and Natalia Juncos, also denounced the actor for sexual harassment. He allegedly repeatedly used the phrase “you see how you get me,” which promoted the Actress Collective to start the hashtag #MiráComoNosPonemos — English for #YouSeeHowWeGet.

Fardín said she kept quiet so she could move on but decided to go public after hearing accusations from other women.
The actor denied the accusations on Twitter, stating, “What was said isn’t true, my God! It’s madness, that never happened.”

People also took to Twitter to support the actress.
