Making Handbags to Hire Military Spouses

Due to her husband’s military orders, Cameron Cruse found herself living in Georgia in 2011. She had just graduated with her Masters in Architecture and felt her career slowly fading. Cruse knew it was time for a change when she was unable to find an employer willing to hire her due to her impending move as a military spouse. She partnered with Lisa Bradley, and together, they built R. Riveter, a handbag company designed to create income opportunities for military spouses.

R.Riveter comprises a network of military spouses across the United States. Now, no matter where the service takes them, these spouses can always feel financially secure.
