Bud Light owes Eagles fans a free beer after winning their first Super Bowl on Sunday. Last August, Eagles lineman Lane Johnson promised beer for everyone if they won the Super Bowl. So, Bud Light made things interesting, setting up a bet with the lineman via tweet:
“@Lane Johnson65 Let’s make a bet. Win it all and the party is on us. Deal?”
The Eagles beat the Patriots in an upset win 41-33 — and following their victory, Bud Light made good on its promise, posting on Twitter, “The @Eagles of Philadelphia have emerged victorious! Join us with @LaneJohnson65 and your 21+ friends at taverns along the parade route to raise one of the Kingdom’s favorite light lagers. #PhillyPhilly #DillyDilly."
Fans who are 21+ can expect a free Bud Light at the parade, and plans for the parade are expected to be released on Monday. Bud Light may not be America’s favorite beer anymore, but they’re good at keeping their word.
