BusyKid App Teaches Kids How to Earn and Invest Money

This app is teaching kids how to invest their allowance money and Cricket Barrientos is teaching her 15-year-old son Landon how to manage his money with it.

“Because my son has autism, we don’t always know those answers. He needs those basic understandings of what it is to have a job, and earn money and how to go about that successfully.” Barrientos stated. “He’s high functioning on the autism spectrum, however, at this time in his life, he is going through a lot of emotional changes and BusyKids has been one of the positive, stable things in his week.”

BusyKids is an app that teaches kids how to earn, manage and invest money, by helping parents manage kids’ chores and allowances.

“I like to explain BusyKids as your kid’s first job, with direct deposit. So it’s like we’ve automated that whole allowance nightmare that parents get stuck in, to literally one text; yes, I want to pay them, boom, money moves, allocates.” Gregg Mrset, BusyKid CEO, explained.

The app lets parents set up a chose and allowance schedule and sends text message reminders. Kids can receive a weekly allowance as quickly as their parents respond “yes” or “no.” It also gives you the option to invest in the stock market.
