Noah Kerner's App Acorns Invests Your Spare Change

Acorns is an app that invests your spare change — helping you profit off even the most meager amount of money.

“Anyone can grow wealth, and when you think about it, everybody started from the bottom, so everybody who’s made it started from somewhere. And we believe you can, too,” founder Noah Kerner explained. “One of the lessons I’ve learned is that the stock market has always gone from bottom left to top right. And I have this saying — every downturn ends in an upturn. So even when things are tough, even when then news is saying you should run stick with it.”

He went on to state, “For people who don’t feel like they have enough money to start investing, Acorns is great because you can start with spare change. And if that’s too much, you can just go on Google and start researching questions and look at Investopedia and familiarize yourself with information. It’s all out there and accessible.”

Having grown up always having sales and money on his mind, Kerner believes that anyone who has the drive to succeed in investing can do it, and tools like Acorns helps people out even if they don’t have that much extra money.
