Elon Musk is making it much easier to buy Tesla products. According to Bloomberg, the company’s line of renewable energy products is coming to 800 Home Depot stores across the U.S. The 12-foot displays will be staffed by Tesla employees, who can demonstrate Tesla’s solar panels and Powerwall battery.
Tesla’s expansion into Home Depot is its way of appealing to a wider audience, considering that it’s the largest home improvement chain in the U.S., as well as one of the world’s largest retailers with more than 2,200 stores. According to Bloomberg. Tesla has also been in talk with Lowe’s, which is America’s second largest home improvement retailer — but no definite plans have been made yet.
Tesla will be rolling out the new displays at Home Depot stores in the first half of 2018. The company is known for its innovative products, but they aren’t as user-friendly as they could be. Implementations like these will surely help them appeal to more people.
