When you buy from streetwear brand Lisn Up, you choose where that money goes.
“Every collection, every design, every aspect of the brand focuses on giving back to the community," explained CEO and Founder Adam Khafif.
Every piece of Lisn Up clothing you buy is dedicated to a social cause, like sex trafficking, the refugee crisis or self-identity.
“I never wanted to make this about one specific thing, I want to be able to dive into different subjects and keep that window of opportunity open for us,” Khafif said. “There’s a lot of people out there that need help and we’re lucky to have this platform to really speak out but also give back, whether monetary or with our time and attention.”
50% of the brand’s sales go to charity and buyers choose which charity to donate to. They have already raised thousands for various causes.
Aside from giving back, Khafif is also inspired by music and tries to incorporate it every step of the way — every new collection is an album and every design is a track. Some of his supporters include NFL players Hamza and Husain Abdullah, recording artist Yuna, journalist Noor Tagouri and U.S. Olympian Ibtihaj Muhammad.
