Throughout the evolution of Star Wars games, Star Wars video games has spanned different genres and console generations, allowing players to wield their own lightsaber and battle Darth Vader, or fly an X-Wing through the perilous Death Star trench. However, since Lucasfilm was purchased by Disney and the rights went to EA, Star Wars gaming has been in a sorry start. On the eve of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and hot on the heels of The Mandalorian, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order seems like the perfect game to tide us over until Star Wars Rise of Skywalker is unleashed this December. Like every Star Wars trailer, the Jedi Fallen Order trailer enlightened us on the Dark Souls influence in this new Star Wars game, and as it comes closer to release, it’s clear that it may be the Star Wars video game to fit our gaming needs.
