Incredibles 2: The Brilliance of Brad Bird

'The Incredibles' quickly became a modern-day classic, and it's all thanks to director and creator Brad Bird.

The Incredibles 2” is the director’s first feature animation film in eleven years, and Moose is here to explain why that’s such a big deal.

Brad Bird is one of the most passionate filmmakers in all of animation, and has returned to the medium he’s made the most impact on. And, from what we’ve seen from the trailer, the creator of Mr. Incredible, Jack Jack, Edna Mode, Elastigirl, and Frozone hasn’t lost his touch.

But what makes Brad Bird so special? From his start at Disney to his work on “The Simpsons” and “Rugrats,” to his 2D animated masterpiece “The Iron Giant,” Brad Bird has had a massive influence on the art of animation. His live action films are great too, like “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” and “Tomorrowland” — but we’ve always hoped he would return to animation before too long. From superheroes to suburbia, Brad Bird is one of the most versatile animators around, and although we had to wait quite a while for a follow up, “The Incredibles 2” looks like it will be a smashing sequel to the beloved first film.
