10-year-old Cassidy called out her school for doing nothing about bullying.
Footage of her online plight shows the girl flipping through notecards, explaining how she has been bullied throughout grade school. She describes the awful acts that have been done to her, including being split on, having her belongings stolen, and being assaulted during recess. The bullying has apparently left her alienated at school, with no one wanting to sit with her at lunch. And, worst of all, she also claims that she’s received death threats and has been told to kill herself.
In light of all the alleged bullying, Cassidy claims that her principal isn’t doing anything to stop it, and writes, “I feel so alone, I feel like I have no one. It hurts.”
Near the clip’s conclusion, she urges viewers to stop bullying — not just for her sake but for other victims — and to share her story so that others can hear it.
The child’s video was taken down after going live, and her Facebook account was deleted. According to her mother, the school district reported Cassidy for not being old enough to have an account. But she re-posted her daughter’s story on her own page in order for her message to be heard.
