This boy bullied kids on the bus and his dad’s solution was to make him run to school.
From the car, behind his running son, the father stated, “Well, my son has finally gotten in trouble in the bus enough where he got actually kicked off the bus for three days because he was being a little bully, which I do not tolerate, I cannot stand.”
So, as a creative solution, the father made his son run to school with him trailing behind. He explained that his son endured this for a week and “he keeps up a pretty good mile pace” at six miles an hour.
He also said that the discipline improved his behavior and that his teachers had been seeing a difference.
“This right here is just old school, simple parenting. This ain’t killing nobody. This is a healthy way for a child to be punished because it’s exercise — something that a lot of people don’t think children should do anymore. He’s gonna be a very fast runner later on because — I’ve always joked he’ll either be fast of obedient. So far we’re working on fast.”
The father’s methods are definitely an interesting solution to bullying — but if they're helping, then maybe there’s something to them.
