Florida's Gatorland Park Assures Alligators Won't Escape During Hurricane

A Florida park says its gators won’t escape during the hurricane.

The theme park, which dubs itself “the Alligator Capital of the World,” posted the update on Facebook on August 31, several days before the Category 5? storm was expected to hit the U.S.

Hurricane Dorian pummeled the Bahamas for more than 24 hours, leaving at least five people dead. It’s expected to travel north up the Florida coast.
