This gymnast is the first man to accuse Larry Nassar of sexual abuse.
“It’s frustrating you know, when you have an injury, and then you’re going to a doctor and you’re thinking you’re going to get a legitimate, medical treatment and you’re not getting that. For sure.” Jacob Moore stated.
Moore is a gymnast at the University of Michigan who saw Larry Nassar when he was 16 for a shoulder injury. Moore says Nassar performed acupuncture on his shoulder but also used a treatment on his genitals claiming it would help his shoulder injury.
Moore has joined a federal lawsuit against the doctor. He said he was inspired to add his name with the 200+ accurses, by his older sister, who testified against Nassar in January.
He stated, “I hope to God that no one — no one else is, or has been, affected by this that hasn’t come out yet. But you know, if they are out there, then I don’t want them to be scared to come out because of this stigma that guys can’t be you know, sexually abused of taken advantage of, I guess.”
Nassar has been sentenced to life in prison for the horrible acts performed on his many victims.
