Parkland Student Activist Mocks NRA with New Ad

The Parkland students are clapping back at the NRA TV. Parkland survivor and activist Sarah Chadwick parodied NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch’s NRA TV ad with her own video advertising the March for Our Lives.

Loesch’s ad started with her stating, “We are done with your agenda to undermine voters’ will and individual liberty in America. Your time is running out; the clock starts now.” And Chadwick started hers with, “We are done with your agenda to undermine the safety of our nation’s youth and the individual voices of the American people. To those who call high school students paid crisis actors and refuse to listen: your time is running out; the clock starts now.”

And she’s not the only person taking jabs at the ad. The father of Jaime Guttenberg, who was killed in the Parkland shooting, referenced Loesch’s video at a senate hearing on gun violence and called out the hypocrisy of the government’s response.

The March for Our Lives protest will take place in Washington, D.C. on March 24. Student survivors and their families have been actively calling for more gun control ever since the Parkland shooting — and hopefully their efforts, along with the march, with inspire lawmakers to enact meaningful laws.
