Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez danced around once in college — and conservatives lost it.
The resurfaced video was shared by conservative Twitter accounts, originally in a since deleted tweet by @AnonymousQ1776 who stated, “Here is America’s favorite commie know-it-all acting like the clueless nitwit she is…High School video of “Sandy” Ocasio-Cortez.”
Though their aim was to same Ocasio-Cortiz, people didn’t exactly buy into it.

The video is from Ocasio-Cortez’s time at Boston University. “The Breakfast Club” dance remake was posted to YouTube in 2010 and the description says it was presented by the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground, where she was a student ambassador. On their About page, the center says they have “a group of talented, energetic, and intelligent students call Student Ambassadors.” The Ambassadors are reportedly chosen for their “commitment to Howard Thurman’s philosophy of common ground.
