Former Attorney General Eric Holder on the 2018 Midterms and Corruption in D.C.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder has no doubt there's a blue wave coming in November, but Republican gerrymandering will try to stop it.

“The fact that Congress has done no oversight with regard to this administration means that this Congress is complicit in that corruption,” he stated.

Holder stated that he thinks the upcoming midterm elections are the most important that he’s seen in his lifetime.

“I think there’s no question there’s going to be a blue wave,” he stated. “But that blue wave is going to run into a wall of Republican gerrymandering and the question is will that wave get beyond that wall and actually reach the shores.”

Holder is a chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. He is also critical about Trump’s dangerous views regarding the press.

“People need to understand that having a free press, a critical press, is a cornerstone of our democracy,” he stated,
Holder said that his main focus right now is on November 6th and making sure that the country has a successful midterm election. When that’s done, he’s going to focus on making a determination on whether he wants to run for president.
