Midterms Matter: Amber Tamblyn and David Cross

Amber Tamblyn and David Cross said no matter what you're doing it for, voting is the best way to make a difference in our country.

“The biggest issue, and it is an umbrella that covers everything, else is equality,” Cross stated. “I don’t know how closely y’all are paying attention, but it’s bad for a lot of people that aren’t white males, or rich white males.”

Tamblyn and Cross said that, if they, could, they would vote for Stacey Abrams.

“We need kindness, and we need people with real moral backbones,” Tamblyn said. “There’s just something really smart, intelligent, and evolved around her and about the way she puts herself out there. And I think there’s a lot of candidates that reflect that which just makes me very hopeful and happy.”

The couple believes that all Americans should have access to health care, voting rights, and reproductive rights, regardless of their skin color, religion, sexual orientation, or economic status. They also want everyone who is able to vote to use their political voices on Election Day.

“I know it seems like an individual vote may not necessarily changed anything, but I think it’s so important to remember the cumulative power of many people voting and it’s so easy now to find out information about your local candidates,” Tamblyn stated.
