Tucker Carlson's Racist Comments In Unearthed Audio

Tucker Carlson made explicitly racist comments in newly unearthed audio from appearances on a shock jock’s radio show from 2006 to 2009.

Carlson attributed Barack Obama’s political success to race stating, “everybody know that Barack Obama would still be in the State Senate in Illinois if he were white.”

He also explained what he thinks makes a “good immigrant,” saying people who come to this country ought to “be hot,” or “really smart.”
Carlson also made racist comments about Iraqis and Afghans saying they should “just shut the f*ck up and obey” and that Afghanistan “is never gonna be a civilized country because the people aren’t civilized.”

He even appeared to support a hypothetical anti-Islam candidate, claiming that we need a racist president, “who’s totally unbound by P.C. rules, who will just say whatever the hell he wants.”

Carlson was an MSNBC host from 2005 until 2008 and began working at Fox News in 2009. He is now one of the network’s most prominent personalities where he continues to use racist, demeaning, and xenophobic rhetoric.

The audio was released by the media watchdog group Media Matters, which also released plenty of audio of Carlson demeaning women, including many different public figures.
