Debra Messing Asks About E!'s Equal Pay While Being Interviewed By E!

Debra Messing called out E! for paying women less while being interviewed by them at the Golden Globes.
"I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn't believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts." She stated on the red carpet. "I mean, I miss Catt Sadler. So we stand with her. And that's something that can change tomorrow. You know, we want people to start having this conversation that women are just a valuable as men." Messing spoke in reference to former E! host Catt Sadler who quit her job after she found out she was paid almost half as much as her male co-anchor.

Amy Schumer was another celebrity who asked people on the red carpet to hold E! accountable and to stand with Sadler. "If you're on the carpet tonight or at home post in support and ask @eentertainment what happened? We thought you would be for pay equality and say #imwithcattsad @iamcattsadler," she stated in a tweet.
