Jason Momoa shaved his beard to get you to recycle.
Momoa said the last time he shaved was in 2012. The “Aquaman” star used his shaving session to highlight the benefits of aluminum over plastic.
“About 75% of all aluminum that’s ever been used is still in circulation today. And it’s 100% recyclable,” he explained. “Most importantly, I just want to do this to bring awareness. ‘Cause plastics are killing our planet and I think I have a solution. I don’t wanna b*tch about it. There’s only one thing that can really help our planet and save our planet, as long as we recycle.”
Momoa’s barber bulletin was a collaboration with Ball Corporation, a Colorado-based canning company. Beard of no beard, Momoa reminds us that caring about the environment is swoon worthy.
“Please, please, there’s a change comin’. And it’s aluminum. We gotta get rid of these plastic water bottles,” he stated. “Aquaman is trying to do the best he can. For my kids. For your kids. For the world.”
