'Jumanji' is The Rock's Highest Grossing Domestic Movie

“Jumanji” is The Rock’s highest-grossing domestic movie. The “Welcome to The Jungle” reboot came out December 20, 2017 and has officially surpassed the reigning “Furious 7,” which grossed $353 million in the U.S. summer 2015. However, a Forbes 2017 list dethroned The Rock as Hollywood’s highest-paid actor.

Mark Wahlberg took the top spot earning $68 million as Hollywood’s highest-paid actor. He starred in movies like “Daddy’s Home 2” and “Transformers: The Last Knight.” The Rock came in second, earning $65 million. Hopefully in 2018, he will return to his rightful place at the top of the list — at the very least, he deserves to win most improved.
