Kate Upton has accused Guess co-founder Paul Marciano of sexual harassment.
She took to social media to accuse the co-found and creative director of years of misconduct, stating, “He shouldn’t be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women. #metoo.”
“I think a lot of people around him know about it and need to speak up.” Upton said to the paparazzi. “I can’t wait to tell my whole story, but a walk to the car is not going to cover it.”
In light of this, previous allegations against him are starting to resurface. In 2009 model Lindsey Ring filed a lawsuit accusing Marciano of “making sexual comments to her, repeatedly touching her inappropriately and without her consent and attempting, on at least two accusations, to fondle her sexually after taking her to a private area at the worksite, all of which was offensive to Ms. Ring and would have been offensive to any reasonable person.”
Documents form the suit allege company supervisors were aware of and allowed Marciano’s behavior. He denied the claims ant the suit was settled out of court.
According to TMZ, he is also denying Upton’s allegations, but maybe this time, justice will actually be served.
