Lil Nas X Reveals He's Gay on the Last Day of Pride

Lil Nas X came out as gay on the last day of Pride.
 
The “Old Town Road” rapper tweeted on June 30 asking fans to listen more closely to the lyrics of “C7osure,” a track on his debut EP “7.”
 
“Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. But before this month ends I want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.”
 
The song opens up with the lyrics, “True say, I want and need/To let go, use my time to be free.”
 
Lil Nas X later tweeted the cover art for “7,” saying “deadass thought I made it obvious.”
 
Other artists and fans of the 20-year-old rapper responded to his tweets with their support.
 
“Your orientation is your biz and no one should judge you for it,” LG stated. “Just keep being you. Real Stan’s will support you regardless. #LoveIsLoveIsLove.”
 
“I’m so proud of you Nas diamond record, topping charts and making history for people like us,” Drebae stated. “You are so brave and we supporting til the END”

The rapper’s “Old Town Road” is now the longest running Hot 100 #1 hip-hop single of all time.
