Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are going to be dads. The Olympic diver and his filmmaker husband made an announcement on IG. The par got parried in May 2017 — two years after their engagement in 2015.
23-year-old Daley came out in a 2013 YouTube video. He won bronze medals at the Olympic Games in London and Rio be Janeiro.
His filmmaker husband is known for writing “Milk,” the film about California’s 1st openly gay elected official, which won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 2008.
The couple has expressed interest in having a baby in the past.
"Lance and I definitely want a family in the future," Daley told the Belfast Telegraph in July. "Who knows when? We're both lucky to have supportive families," the bronze medalist said. "We want to share that with our own children."
While it’s not clear whether the couple hired a surrogate or when the baby is due, the news is still amazing for the couple. There will surely be more updates regarding the amazing pair. They’re renowned in their various fields so it would only make sense that they will be amazing parents — maybe their baby will be a future diver or filmmaker.
