Author and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (“Mama's Boy” is his new memoir) won an Academy Award for his Milk screenplay, which told the story of LGBTQ+ history icon Harvey Milk, the first gay mayor of San Francisco. Dustin Lance Black is also a gay activist and in this interview explains how Fox News and MSNBC have closed people off to each other, he suggests open communication to bridge the divide in politics.
