“The Notebook” is heading to Broadway — so get ready to believe in love again.
Singer, songwriter Ingrid Michaelson announced the big news and revealed she will work with “This Is Us” producer Bekah Brunstetter to bring the love story to the stage.
The Nicholas Sparks novel first came to life in the 2004 on-screen adaptation starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. It swept the global box office to earn $116 million.
Michaelson says she has been writing music for the adaptation for more than a year. No casting or premiere date has been announced yet, but fans are already excited to see Noah and Allie’s love story live on.
