Chris Evans is best known for his role in “Captain America” — but did you know he started out as a model for a board game? His first credited role was “Biodiversity: Wild About Life!” but he didn’t hit pop culture until he modeled for Mystery Date, a board game that was reissued in the early 2000s with Chris’ face all over it.
He starred in a few more mainstream roles like the short-lived show “Opposite Sex,” and the cult classic parody “Not Another Teen Movie.”
This gave way to his action career, where he starred in “Push,” “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.” But his true big break came in 2011 when he became the face of Captain America in the MCU.
Chris actually turned down the role 3 times, but Robert Downey Jr convinced him to do it. Since then most of his work has been with Marvel, with some notable exception like “The Iceman,” and “Snowpiercer,” which received critical acclaim.
Evans makes the perfect Marvel superhero, considering he looks like an action figure come to life, but we can’t wait to see which film he ends up in next.
