Preventing Veteran Suicide

Army officer Brian Kinsella was commissioned in the US Army in 2006, where he deployed as a Captain and Detachment Commander. Following his active duty service in 2010, Kinsella knew many of his fellow veterans were experiencing emotional and mental effects from their time in service – just like him.

Eventually, Kinsella was inspired to launch a non-profit organization called Stop Soldier Suicide, dedicated to providing resources to veterans and service members who might be suffering or in need.

To this day, Stop Solider Suicide helps veterans with things like financial strain, post-traumatic stress, other mental health issues, and difficulties navigating the transition from military to civilian life.
