This Full-Time Teacher And Mom Is A Secretly-Ripped Fitness Guru

Finding a time to work out can be challenging. If you work full time, it can be difficult to find the time and energy to head to the gym. You usually end up having to get up crazy early or find the will to head there after work.

Then there’s Kirin Hart — who is a Ninja Warrior and obstacle course racer. And she does it all while also being a full-time mom and school teacher. She began her training in 2014. She says she was bored by a normal gym routine and looking for something new. She competed in the 2015 and 2016 OCR World Championships and came in 3rd place in her age group at the 2017 U.S. Championship in Texas.

“OCR is a hobby, as is Ninja Warrior. It’s something I do because it’s fun. There aren’t too many things that grown-ups get to do that are just playing and these two sports for me are the closest to playtime I can find.”

Hart is also developing a following on Instagram and hopes she can be a role model for other people who are not naturally fit but want to get out there and try OCR for the first time.
