$130,000 Of Cannabis Found Hidden In Police Dispatcher's Home

65 pounds of weed were found in a police disnature’s home. Narcotics officers arrested Blong Ly Vang, the husband of a police dispatcher in North Carolina, after finding 65 pounds of cannabis in their home. Vang and his wife initially allowed officers to search their home, but once they found the weed, the couple revoked consent. The officers obtained a search warrant and conducted a second search, where they found more weed ($130,000 worth), along with a stolen handgun, digital scales, and a vacuum sealer.

Vang was charged with possession, intent to sell and deliver and possession of a stolen firearm. His wife is no longer employed as a police dispatcher.
