These guys have a blast researching weed history. “Great Moments in Weed History” is hosted by cannabis journalists David Bienenstock and Abdullah Saeed, who are both very knowledgeable and incredibly funny.
“One of [the concepts] that Bean came up with was “Great Moments in Weed History,” and it was all about just taking these little slices, fascinating stories from this history of cannabis which is so much longer than a lot of what people really know.” Saeed explained.
Bienenstock stated, “You’re gonna learn something. It’s like other history podcasts but we’re also pretty baked and we love to make each other laugh, and it’s fun, and we don’t take ourselves seriously, we just take weed seriously."
The two might not take themselves seriously, but their passion for all things cannabis shines through in everything they say. The podcast covers everything from Willie Nelson smoking on the roof of the White House to evidence that Jesus used cannabis to perform healing miracles.
You can listen to Great Moments in Weed History for free on iTunes or any other podcast platform. If you’re a fan of the green stuff you’ll love to learn exactly how it’s managed to embed itself throughout our history.
